This italian phrase, "a good fork", is used to describe people who love to eat! Here are some press clips for Chef Linda Sarris and a few quick reviews from my happy clients.
A brand new interview about me was just posted by Marissa Cortes, who I met in Sicily last September when I gave her a food tour of Palermo’s lively Ballarò street market on a scouting trip for Giada De Laurentiis’ travel guides. My famous Sicilian market, with its wide variety of foods and flavors presented amongst an entertaining cacophony of shouting vendors and singing fruit salesmen, is a must-see in Palermo. In the midst of it all, I offer my guests the experience of having a taste of Sicily in color, with full surround-sound!
In October 2018, I organized a very special workshop with 7 female bakers from around the world. They joined us at the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School for an experimental week using their own professional baking techniques with our local Sicilian flour. We visited a flour mill, a local cheesemaker, sipped Sicilian wines in the courtyard, and slathered fancy French butter on our homemade sourdough breads just after they came out of the school’s wood-burning oven.
